Bobby stopped at the market that he'd noticed the last time he'd visited Bunny. He was able to convince the butcher to cut the ribeyes fresh, then got everything else fresh. There would be no cans used in making dinner. It wasn't so much about making a good impression as it was about Bobby taking some time to focus on someone he could have, rather than someone who had clearly been a mistake.

He arrived at the house and unstrapped the two bags he had from the bike. One held dinner, the other held the bribery material for Shiloh. Bobby had been pretty lost in the store before he left. A mother and child had taken pity on him, the baby finally being the one to pick the two toys he'd ended up buying. One was something that Shiloh could take to bed with him, a soft, musical puppy. The other was to keep him amused while he was awake. Bobby had almost gotten two of the puzzle toy, one to keep for himself. It was just cool.

He knocked on the door, certain that Bunny had to have heard the bike show up.
